The reports says that the ICC has scheduled a Board meeting for Wednesday to discuss the BCB’s request to have Bangladesh’s matches moved to Sri Lanka, citing security concerns in India.
However, it remains unclear whether the PCB’s correspondence prompted the meeting.
The ICC has so far remained firm on not altering the tournament schedule or allowing Bangladesh to play their matches in Sri Lanka, India’s co-host for the event.
This stance has already been communicated to the BCB during discussions held last week.
The BCB, with the Bangladesh government's support, has refused to travel to India for the team's group-stage games.
