Left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman is set to return to competitive cricket after taking a break during the West Indies tour to be with his wife, who was expecting their first child. The couple welcomed a baby boy in the first week of December, and soon after, Mustafizur resumed training at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, preparing for the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
