Bangladesh pace spearhead Taskin Ahmed believes the upcoming tour of Zimbabwe will be anything but easy, insisting the Tigers will face even greater pressure despite many viewing the hosts as a comparatively weaker side.

After concluding their white-ball series against Australia, Bangladesh have now shifted focus to the Zimbabwe tour, where they are scheduled to play a one-off Test, followed by three ODIs and three T20Is in unfamiliar conditions.

Speaking ahead of the tour, Taskin said every series presents its own challenges, but expectations surrounding matches against Zimbabwe often add another layer of pressure on the players.

"Every day in life is a challenge, and every series is challenging. The Zimbabwe series will bring even more pressure because we'll be playing in their conditions. If you don't perform well against Zimbabwe, people will simply say that you failed against Zimbabwe," Taskin said.

The right-arm pacer stressed that winning in Zimbabwe has never been straightforward and warned against underestimating the hosts on their own turf.

"The players know it, and we know how difficult it is to go to Zimbabwe and beat them in their own backyard. We recently won the ODI series against Australia, but unfortunately lost the T20I series. Every series is challenging for us. Even tape-tennis cricket is challenging. Cricket is never easy," he added.

Bangladesh will begin the tour with the lone Test match at the Harare Sports Club, scheduled from June 28 to July 2.

The ODI series will then take place at the same venue, with matches set for July 6, 9 and 11.

Following the 50-over leg, both teams will travel to Bulawayo, where the Queen's Sports Club will host the three-match T20I series on July 15, 17 and 19.
