The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a 15-member final squad for the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, set to be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka.

Experienced wicketkeeper-batter Litton Das has been appointed captain of the Tigers for the global tournament, while Saif Hassan has been named vice-captain in a surprise move.

The squad was confirmed through an official BCB press release on Sunday. Wicketkeeper-batter Jaker Ali Anik has missed out on selection, with Nurul Hasan Sohan included as Litton’s keeping partner instead.

At the top of the order, Litton and Saif will be joined by Tanzid Hasan Tamim and Parvez Hossain Emon, while Towhid Hridoy and Shamim Hossain are set to shoulder responsibility in the middle order.

Bangladesh’s pace attack features a strong blend of experience, with Mustafizur Rahman, Taskin Ahmed, Shoriful Islam and Tanzim Hasan Sakib forming the fast-bowling unit. All-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin has also retained his place in the squad.

In the spin department, leg-spinner Rishad Hossain will be supported by Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Nasum Ahmed as Bangladesh look to make an impact on subcontinental conditions.
