Zimbabwe have confirmed a 15-man squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, set to be jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka from 7 February to 8 March, with veteran batter Brendon Taylor adding experience and depth to the Chevrons’ line-up.

Having secured qualification through an unbeaten run in the Africa Qualifier, Zimbabwe have selected a balanced squad blending proven performers with emerging talent.

Sikandar Raza will lead the side as captain as the Chevrons aim to make a strong impression after missing out on the 2024 edition of the tournament.

Taylor’s presence brings a wealth of experience to the batting unit, strengthening the middle order and providing valuable leadership within the group.

He will be supported by in-form Brian Bennett, who topped the batting charts during the qualifiers and is expected to play a key role at the top of the order.

The bowling attack will be led by pace spearheads Blessing Muzarabani and Richard Ngarava, while Graeme Cremer will provide control and variation in the spin department.

Squad:

Sikandar Raza (c), Brian Bennett, Ryan Burl, Graeme Cremer, Bradley Evans, Clive Madande, Tinotenda Maposa, Tadiwanashe Marumani, Wellington Masakadza, Tony Munyonga, Tashinga Musekiwa, Blessing Muzarabani, Dion Myers, Richard Ngarava, Brendan Taylor
