Put in to bat, Noakhali Express struggled for momentum after losing early wickets and finished on 133 for 6.
Mohammad Nabi anchored the innings with an unbeaten 42 off 33 balls, while captain Haider Ali top-scored with 47 from 36 deliveries.
The innings never fully took off despite a late push, as Dhaka’s bowlers kept things tight. Imad Wasim was the most economical, conceding just 16 runs in his four overs, while Taskin Ahmed, Mohammad Saifuddin, Ziaur Rahman, Nasir Hossain and Abdullah Al Mamun picked up a wicket each.
In reply, Dhaka Capitals made light work of the modest target despite losing two early wickets. Nasir Hossain led the chase with a commanding unbeaten 90 off 50 balls, striking 14 fours and two sixes.
He found solid support from Imad Wasim, who finished not out on 29 from 16 balls, as the pair steered Dhaka home in just 14.1 overs.
Hasan Mahmud was the pick of the Noakhali bowlers with two wickets, but the rest of the attack failed to contain Dhaka’s batting.
