Chasing a modest target of 128, the Royals’ opening pair put on 115 runs to wrap up the match. Naeem scored a brisk 52 off 37 balls before departing, while Rossington remained unbeaten on 73 from 53 balls, sealing the victory with 24 balls to spare. This marked Chattogram’s third win of the tournament.
Earlier, Sylhet, batting first, crumbled under disciplined bowling from Chattogram.
They lost five wickets before the end of the powerplay, finding themselves in deep trouble. Omarzai’s resilient 44 runs off 41 balls helped them post a total of 126 for 7 in their allotted overs.
Mirza Tahir Baig and Mehedi Hasan took two wickets each for Chattogram.
