In a social media update, Mushfiq wrote with a photo:
“Assalamu A’laikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu. Alhamdulillah safely boarded to BIMAN. In shaa Allah will land tomorrow morning in Dhaka. Thanks to those who have constantly contact with me in last 24 hours and sending lots of prayers. May Almighty Allah take all of us safely home.”
The wicketkeeper-batter had earlier been stuck in Jeddah after his Emirates flight was forced to turn back amid escalating conflict in the Middle East.
Following coordinated efforts to ensure his safe return, Mushfiq is now expected to land in Dhaka on Monday morning.
