Bangladesh announce squads for Women’s Asia Cup and Asian Games

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a 15-member women’s squad for the ACC Women’s Asia Cup 2026 in Dubai, UAE, and the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026.

Nigar Sultana Joty will lead the side, with Nahida Akter named vice-captain.

The squad features a mix of experienced players and emerging talents, including Dilara Akter, Juairiya Ferdous, Sharmin Akter Supta, Sobhana Mostary, Shorna Akter, Ritu Moni, Fahima Khatun and Rabeya Khan.

The squad will represent Bangladesh in both major competitions as the team looks to make a strong impact on the regional and Asian stage.

Bangladesh will face China in Quarterfinal 1 at the Korogi Athletic Park on 17 September in Asian Games.
