The three matches will be played in Kathmandu on March 26, 28 and 30, 2027, after the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) agreed to the proposed tour.
The initiative was first discussed during a meeting between State Minister for Youth and Sports Md Aminul Haque and Nepal’s Ambassador to Bangladesh Ghanshyam Bhandari.
Ambassador Bhandari visited the BCB on Wednesday and met BCB President Tamim Iqbal, with the proposed tour and broader cricketing cooperation between the two countries discussed during the meeting.
The BCB expressed its sympathy to the victims of the floods and agreed that dedicating the series to their memory would carry special significance.
The three matches are expected to provide an opportunity for Bangladesh and Nepal to come together through cricket and convey a message of friendship and solidarity during a difficult period.
The BCB also assured the Nepal Cricket Association of continued support for the development of cricket in the country.
