Towhid Hridoy raised the bar on the final day in Potchefstroom, scoring a remarkable 350 in the four-day match against South Africa A.
After Saifuddin’s dismissal late on the third evening, Bangladesh A resumed the final day with four wickets in hand. They quickly lost two more wickets, with Hridoy on 225 when the eighth wicket fell.
From there, Hridoy found an able partner in pacer Rejaur Rahman Raja. The pair extended Bangladesh’s lead before Hridoy brought the innings to an end, with Bangladesh A declaring on 676 for 8.
Hridoy remained unbeaten on 350 off 381 balls, while Raja finished on 31 not out from 110 deliveries.
South Africa A now begin their second innings 164 runs behind.
However, the match ended in a draw as South Africa clinched the series 1-0.
