The right-arm pacer will link up with fellow Bangladesh international Hasan Mahmud for four Championship fixtures as Kent look to strengthen their bowling attack during the crucial closing stages of the red-ball season.
Khaled, who made his first-class debut for Sylhet in 2015, has taken 190 wickets in 70 first-class appearances. He made his Test debut for Bangladesh in 2018 and has claimed 34 wickets in 18 Tests.
Speaking after completing his move, Khaled said playing county cricket for a club with Kent’s history was a special opportunity.
“It’s an honour for me to play county cricket and join a Club with a big history such as Kent. This is an important part of our season and I am determined to help the team achieve promotion.”

Kent Director of Cricket Simon Cook said Khaled’s arrival would provide the team with greater depth and flexibility for the remainder of the season.
“We’re delighted to welcome Khaled to Canterbury alongside Hasan this September.
“We wanted to add a bowler who could immediately strengthen our squad and give us greater flexibility through the final stages of the season.”

The move also gives Khaled an opportunity to gain valuable experience in English conditions ahead of the next phase of his international career.
