Nahid, who has already been ruled out of the series due to a Grade 2 left side strain, will undergo comprehensive scans in Perth, including an assessment of a shin bone issue that has been under regular monitoring by the BCB medical team.
He is expected to return to Bangladesh shortly after completing the assessment.
Taskin will also be assessed in Perth as part of a preventive medical review. The pacer has been managing a few lingering physical concerns, and the evaluation is aimed at ensuring he remains fully fit for the series.
Following the assessment, Taskin is expected to join the Bangladesh squad in Darwin ahead of the opening Test.
Meanwhile, left-arm pacer Shoriful Islam continues his rehabilitation from a hamstring injury sustained during the Zimbabwe tour.
