Former captain Athar Ali Khan has been included in the tournament’s commentary panel, while Sharfuddoula Saikat will serve as one of the on-field umpires.
Saikat continues to build his reputation on the international stage.
A member of the International Cricket Council elite panel, he has officiated in major series and tournaments, including The Ashes and recent global events.
This will be Saikat's PSL debut, who was in the news during the T20 World Cup 2026. With Bangladesh not playing there, Saikat’s presence in India and Sri Lanka got a lot of attention among cricket fans.
Widely known as the “Voice of Bangladesh,” Athar is also set to bring his familiar presence to the broadcast.
The PSL is scheduled to run from March 26 to May 3, with Bangladesh’s involvement spanning players, commentary and match officiating.
