Rajshahi Warriors clinched a tense four-wicket victory over Noakhali Express with six balls to spare in a closely fought contest, condemning Noakhali to their sixth straight defeat in the Bangladesh Premier League.

Batting first, Noakhali posted a competitive 151 for 5, built around a fluent 59 from Soumya Sarkar and a valuable 35 off 26 balls by Mohammad Nabi.

Shahadat Hossain provided a steady start with 30, while late cameos from Mahidul Islam Ankon and Haider Ali pushed the total past 150.

Ripon Mondol was the pick of the Rajshahi bowlers with two wickets, well supported by Binura Fernando and Najmul Hossain Shanto.

In reply, Rajshahi were driven by a match-defining 60 off 35 balls from Muhammad Waseem, whose aggressive innings set the tone for the chase.

Despite brief resistance from Noakhali through Mehedi Hasan Rana’s three-wicket spell, contributions from Ryan Burl (19*), Mushfiqur Rahim (19) and timely runs from Yasir Ali ensured Rajshahi crossed the line at 152 for 6 in 19 overs to seal a hard-earned win.
