The franchise has been grabbing headlines with one surprise after another since the auction.
Just a few days ago, they signed Nabi, and now it has been confirmed that Nabi’s son, Eisakhil, will also feature in the BPL, representing Noakhali, the same team as his father.
On Tuesday evening, the Noakhali franchise announced their arrival by sharing a photo of the father-son duo.
The pair have previously played together in Afghanistan’s domestic cricket. Although Eisakhil has yet to make his senior international debut for Afghanistan, he has represented the country at the Under-19 level.
Meanwhile, Nabi is a familiar name in the BPL. The Afghan all-rounder last lifted the title with Fortune Barishal and has previously played for five different franchises in the league.
This time, he is expected to join the tournament after completing his commitments in the ILT20.
