In a media release issued on Wednesday, the board confirmed a three-member Election Commission that will be responsible for conducting all election-related activities in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations.
Senior Advocate of the Bangladesh Supreme Court Ahsanul Karim has been appointed as the Chief Election Commissioner.
Gazipur Metropolitan Police Commissioner Md. Israil Hawlader and National Sports Council Deputy Secretary and Director (Planning & Development) A.B.M. Ehsanul Mamun have been named as members of the commission.
The Election Commission will supervise and manage the entire election process for the upcoming BCB Board of Directors Election 2026.
