Australian pacer Mitchell Starc’s road to recovery seems to be reaching its destination as the pacer has confirmed that he will be available for the UAE tour to play against Pakistan.
Australia are set to play in a two-match Test series against Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates and Starc claimed that he is ready for selection while also adding that he plans to play practice games for New South Wales if things go accordingly.
"I'm definitely available for selection, as long as it all goes well over the next few weeks. There are not many opportunities to play very much competitive cricket before that tour. I'm aiming to play some practice games for NSW when they're up in Brisbane if that plan goes ahead," Cricket.com.au quoted Starc, as saying.

Starc mentioned that his comeback plan is ever-changing according to his progress but stated that his body feels fine and that he has been bowling for the last three weeks.
"The (comeback) plan will keep changing and developing with how my progress is. At the moment I'd like to think I'm very much available for selection for that UAE tour," he added.
"The body feels good, I've been bowling for three weeks," he said.
Finally, he claimed that his plan is to bowl at “85% intensity”.
"I think the plan is to bowl off my full run at about 85 per cent intensity," he added.
