Top-order batter Kirk McKenzie also returns to the squad after consistent displays for Jamaica in first-class cricket, while fast bowler Anderson Phillip has been left out following the recent series against Sri Lanka.
Captain Roston Chase will continue to lead the side, with Jomel Warrican serving as vice-captain. West Indies head into the Pakistan series after securing a 1-0 home Test series victory over Sri Lanka, a result that lifted them to eighth in the World Test Championship standings.
The series begins with the first Test in Tarouba from July 25-29, before the second Test in Port of Spain from August 2-6.
