Rajshahi Warriors handed Noakhali Express their third consecutive defeat, cruising to a six-wicket win in the sixth match of the Bangladesh Premier League at Sylhet.

Batting first, Noakhali Express struggled to gain momentum and finished on 124 for 8 from their 20 overs.

Captain Haider Ali top-scored with 33 off 28 balls, while Maaz Sadaqat provided a brisk start with 25 off 19. However, regular wickets in the middle overs stalled Noakhali’s innings.

The standout performance came from Ripon Mondol, who dismantled the middle order with an excellent spell of 4 for 13. He was well supported by Tanzim Hasan Sakib (2/31) and Binura Fernando (1/23) as Rajshahi kept the scoring rate under control throughout.

Chasing a modest target of 125, Rajshahi Warriors lost an early wicket but recovered comfortably. Tanzid Hasan played a fluent knock of 29 off 20 balls, while skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto added 24 off 20 to steady the innings.

After a brief wobble, Mushfiqur Rahim anchored the chase with an unbeaten 28 off 30 balls.

He found solid support from Yasir Ali, who remained not out on 23 off 26, as the pair added an unbroken stand to guide Rajshahi home.

The Warriors reached 125 for 4 in 17.5 overs, sealing the victory with 13 balls to spare.
