Ahead of the tournament, Rajshahi Warriors have begun their preparations in Mirpur.
The squad includes Mushfiqur Rahim, Shanto, Tanzid Hasan Tamim, Akbar Ali, Hasan Murad and Jishan Alam, among others, who are training at the BCB Academy.
After several days of training in Dhaka, the team will depart for Sylhet on the afternoon of December 23. Rajshahi are planning to travel with their overseas players. Before the BPL auction, the franchise signed Sahibzada Farhan and Mohammad Nawaz directly.
Later, they picked up Dushan Hemantha and Jahandad Khan from the auction. Following the auction, Rajshahi further strengthened their squad by signing Hussain Talat, Sandeep Lamichhane and Binura Fernando.
Head coach Hannan Sarkar has confirmed that six of the seven overseas players will be available for Rajshahi from the start of the BPL.
The 12th edition of the BPL is set to begin on December 26 in Sylhet.
