Due to the continuing heavy rain in Colombo, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) is now discussing a potential change in the location for the Super 4 phases of the Asia Cup, according to reports.
The participating teams have been advised of the inclement weather in Sri Lanka's capital. As a result, Pallekele and Dambulla have been considered as feasible options.

While the first match in Colombo is set for September 9, the ACC is concerned about the weather forecast.
