Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz has suffered a finger injury during the ongoing Dhaka Premier League (DPL).
The incident took place during the 17th over of the game when Miraz attempted to catch a delivery from Tamim Iqbal, he accidentally fell and injured the finger of his right hand.
Earlier, Mushfiqur Rahim injured his ankle while fielding in the boundary line during the 10th over. He immediately returned to the dressing room.
Sheikh Jamal team manager Mohammad Rafique said, "Mushfiqur hurt his legs and is presently resting." We will take additional measures when the team returns to Dhaka. Miraz's finger was fractured, and the bone had been displaced. He's been brought to the hospital now,"
Both Miraz and Mushfiqur were named in the Test squad for the Sri Lanka series, which will be played in May.
