Bangladesh fast bowler Shoriful Islam believes adapting to Zimbabwe's conditions will be the biggest challenge for the visitors in the upcoming ODI series, but remains confident that a strong collective performance can help the Tigers continue their winning run.

Bangladesh arrived in Zimbabwe nearly a week ahead of the series to acclimatise to the local conditions. Shoriful, along with fellow pacers including Mustafizur Rahman, has been training regularly as the team prepares for the three-match ODI series.

Speaking in a video released by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), Shoriful said the squad has been making the most of the extra preparation time.

"Alhamdulillah, we've been here for several days now. Since arriving, we've been trying to adjust to the conditions and weather. Everyone is in good shape, and we've prepared well. Now it's about executing our plans in the matches," he said.

Bangladesh head into the series with confidence after winning ODI series against the West Indies, Pakistan, New Zealand and Australia. However, Shoriful admitted that playing in Zimbabwe's home conditions will be far from straightforward.

"We've done well in our last few series, and we'll try to stick to the same process that brought us success. We're working hard in both batting and bowling," he said.

The left-arm pacer acknowledged Zimbabwe's home advantage but insisted Bangladesh's focus will remain on executing their own skills rather than worrying about the conditions.

"We've won our last four ODI series, but playing in their home conditions will definitely be challenging. Still, we don't want to think too much about that. We'll focus on delivering our skills and see what happens."

Shoriful has had limited opportunities in recent months with senior pacers Taskin Ahmed, Mustafizur and Nahid Rana often leading the attack. But he made the most of his chance in the third ODI against Australia, claiming a career-best 6 for 48.

Despite his recent success, Shoriful said his priority is not personal milestones but helping Bangladesh win another series.

"I don't have any personal expectations. My only goal is for the team to win the series. I hope everyone stays fit, performs well, and we can finish the tour successfully together."
