Pakistan’s top order faltered early, with Taskin Ahmed and Mahedi Hasan striking in the powerplay. Sahibzada Farhan (4) and Saim Ayub (0) departed inside two overs, while Fakhar Zaman struggled for fluency, making just 13 off 20 balls before falling to Rishad Hossain.
By the seventh over, Pakistan were wobbling at 29 for 3.
The middle order also failed to capitalize. Skipper Salman Ali Agha (19 off 23) and Hussain Talat (3) couldn’t convert starts, as wickets continued to tumble.
Wicketkeeper Mohammad Haris provided the most resistance, hitting 31 off 23 balls with 2 fours and a six, before being dismissed in the 18th over.
Late cameos from Shaheen Afridi (19 off 13, 2 sixes) and Mohammad Nawaz (25 off 15, 1 four, 2 sixes) lifted the total past 130. Faheem Ashraf (14* off 9) added some finishing runs.
For Bangladesh, Taskin Ahmed was the standout, taking 3 for 28 in his four overs. Rishad Hossain (2/18) applied the squeeze brilliantly in the middle overs, while Mahedi Hasan chipped in with 2/28. Mustafizur Rahman picked up a wicket but proved a little expensive.
