India defeated Oman by 21 runs in the 12th match of the T20 Asia Cup in a high-scoring encounter at Abu Dhabi.

India posted a competitive total of 188/8 in their 20 overs, powered by a brilliant 56 off 45 balls from Sanju Samson and a quickfire 38 off 15 balls from Abhishek Sharma, who set the innings on fire early.

Contributions from Axar Patel (26 off 13) and Tilak Varma (29 off 18) ensured India maintained a strong scoring rate of 9.40 runs per over. Extras also helped, with 13 runs added to the total.

Oman responded strongly with 64 from Aamir Kaleem and 51 from Hammad Mirza, along with a steady 32 from Jatinder Singh.

Despite their efforts, they fell short at 167/4 in 20 overs, with India's bowlers holding their nerve in the death overs. Hardik Pandya, Arshdeep Singh, Harshit Rana, and Kuldeep Yadav each picked up a wicket, ensuring India’s victory by 21 runs.
