Bangladesh, the last Asia Cup runners-up, returns to the competition without registering a single win.
Despite putting up a valiant fight, Bangladesh were eliminated from the continental event on Thursday by an agonizing two-wicket defeat to hosts Sri Lanka.
Prior to it, the Shakib Al Hasan-led squad was defeated by Mohammad Nabi's Afghanistan by seven wickets in their opening Asia Cup match.
The Tigers will now gear up for the upcoming T20 tri-nation series in New Zealand, which will serve as a crucial building block for the T20 World Cup in October.
