Following the takeover, the franchise has been officially rebranded from Jaffna Kings to Anchor Jaffna Kings.
Anchor Sports owner Nagendra Siddoutam, alongside Zaheer Khan, completed the acquisition as part of the group's growing investment in global franchise cricket.
The Stockholm-based company already owns the Antwerp Anchors in the European T20 Premier League and the Vancouver Anchors men's and women's teams in Canada's Super 60 League.
The ownership change comes during another successful LPL campaign for Jaffna, with the franchise currently occupying a place in the top two of the league standings.
