The 24-year-old left-arm quick confirmed that he will play for Peshawar Zalmi in the tournament starting on March 26.
Shoriful earned the opportunity following an outstanding campaign in the latest season of the Bangladesh Premier League.
Representing Chattogram Royals, he took 26 wickets in 12 innings at an economy rate of 5.84, finishing as the tournament’s highest wicket-taker and setting a record for most wickets in a single BPL season.
Despite that performance, the left-arm pacer went unsold during the PSL draft but was later picked up by Peshawar ahead of the new season.
Shoriful will be joined at Peshawar by fellow Bangladesh pacer Nahid Rana, who was selected in the draft and had also been part of the franchise last season.
Several other Bangladeshi players are set to feature in the PSL this year. Mustafizur Rahman has been signed directly by Lahore Qalandars, where he will be joined by Parvez Hossain Emon.
Meanwhile, leg-spinner Rishad Hossain will play for a new team Pinzdiz in the upcoming season.
