Lahore Qalandars have announced the return of Bangladesh pace star Mustafizur Rahman, signing him directly for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11.

Mustafizur, who previously represented the Qalandars in 2016 and 2018, will once again wear the franchise’s colours after the deal was agreed at PKR 6.44 crore. The signing strengthens the defending champions as they build towards another title challenge.

Welcoming the left-arm pacer back, Qalandars owner Sameen Rana described Mustafizur as a long-standing member of the franchise.

“Once a Qalandar, always a Qalandar. Mustafizur is not just a player; he’s a brother and a key part of our family,” Rana said, adding that his experience and quality would be vital in PSL 11.

Earlier, Lahore Qalandars retained captain Shaheen Shah Afridi, top-order batter Abdullah Shafique, all-rounder Sikandar Raza, and emerging talent Mohammad Naeem, underlining their intent to maintain a strong core ahead of the auction.

With Mustafizur’s return, Lahore Qalandars have further bolstered their squad as they prepare to defend their title and deliver another competitive campaign in PSL 11.
