Billings represented Sydney Thunder in this season of the BBL, but the team struggled throughout the tournament. Thunder managed just two wins from 10 matches and finished at the bottom of the points table.
Following Thunder’s elimination, Billings will now travel to Bangladesh to take part in the BPL.
The English star is expected to play for Sylhet Titans in the remainder of the tournament.
