Mushfiqur Rahim achieved a significant milestone by becoming the second batter to surpass the landmark of three thousand runs in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
The wicketkeeper-batter accomplished this feat while representing Fortune Barishal in their match against Comilla Victorians at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on Tuesday.

Entering the game, Mushfiqur was just 26 runs away from the landmark, and during the course of the match, he joined his teammate Tamim Iqbal in the exclusive 3k-run club.

Tamim, the captain of Barishal, had become the first player to achieve this feat in the franchise-based T20 league in the previous game against Khulna Tigers.
Mushfiqur reached the milestone in his 114th innings, showcasing his consistency and fine form. He continued his impressive run in the ongoing BPL, registering his second fifty in three matches. His innings of 44-ball 62 contributed to Barishal's total of 161 for nine against Khulna on the day.
Notably, Tamim had achieved the three thousand-run mark in his 91st innings, highlighting the remarkable contributions of both players in the BPL.
