In response, Brothers Union was bowled out for 249, handing Prime Bank a massive 173-run victory—jointly the 12th biggest win in Bangladesh's List-A history. The largest margin remains Abahani’s 260-run win over Mohammedan in 2016.
Batting first at Mirpur’s Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium after losing the toss, Prime Bank got off to a flying start. Openers Naim and Sabbir Hossain built a commanding 140-run partnership. Sabbir, who reached his half-century in just 38 balls, scored 73 off 63 deliveries, hitting 9 fours and 4 sixes before being dismissed.
After Sabbir’s departure, Naim partnered with Zakir Hasan for an 86-run stand. Naim reached his ninth List-A century in just 82 balls and then accelerated further. With 18 fours and 8 sixes, he surged towards a possible double century, aiming to surpass Soumya Sarkar’s record 208-run innings in 2019. However, his innings ended at 176 when he was caught while trying to drive a delivery from Salauddin Sakil.

Prime Bank batters relentlessly attacked Brothers Union's bowlers, smashing a total of 43 fours and 17 sixes. Their record-breaking total of 422/8 surpassed the previous highest List-A score in Bangladesh—Abahani’s 393 runs.

Chasing a mammoth 423, Brothers Union lost opener Imtiaz Hossain (11) early at 29/1. Soon after, Mahfijul Islam Robin (29) was also dismissed, reducing them to 42/2. Aich Mollah and Mishuqul Rahman then built an 86-run partnership, offering some resistance.
Aich Mollah was the standout performer for Brothers, scoring a valiant 96 off 110 balls, including 7 fours and 5 sixes. However, he fell just four runs short of a well-deserved century. Mishuqul contributed 34, while Alok Kapali chipped in with 30.
Prime Bank’s leg-spinner Rishad Hossain led the bowling attack with three wickets. Hasan Mahmud, Shamim Hossain, and Syed Khaled Ahmed picked up two wickets each to wrap up Brothers Union’s innings for 249 in 45.4 overs.
Among Brothers Union’s bowlers, Al-Amin Hossain took 3 wickets for 77 runs, while Salauddin Sakil claimed 2 wickets. However, their efforts were overshadowed by Prime Bank’s dominant display, securing a record-breaking win.
