At BKSP’s No. 4 ground, Partex won the toss and opted to bat first, posting a total of 218 runs, thanks to a solid knock of 78 by young batter Ahrar Amin Payel. However, Tamim Iqbal’s brilliant century ensured Mohammedan’s comfortable victory by seven wickets with 58 balls to spare.
Partex had a decent start, with their openers adding 53 runs. Rubel Mia was the first to depart after scoring 24 off 26 balls. His partner, Joyraj Sheikh, also failed to convert his start, scoring 38 off 56 balls.
At 90/4, Partex found some stability through an 82-run fifth-wicket partnership between Ahrar and Jawad Rohan. However, after their stand was broken, the team suffered a collapse.

Ahrar’s 78 and Jawad’s 42 helped Partex reach 218 before being bowled out in 46.3 overs. Mohammedan’s spinners played a key role in restricting them, with Taijul Islam taking four wickets and Nasum Ahmed grabbing three. Mohammad Saifuddin picked up two wickets, while Abu Hider Rony claimed one.

Chasing 219, Mohammedan lost opener Rony Talukdar early, followed by Mahidul Islam Ankon, who fell for a single-digit score.
However, Tamim and Towhid Hridoy steadied the innings with a crucial 65-run stand. Hridoy contributed 37 off 43 balls before being dismissed.
Tamim then built an unbeaten 122-run partnership with Mushfiqur Rahim to guide Mohammedan to victory.
The left-handed opener reached his 23rd List-A century, scoring 125 off 112 balls with 11 fours and 5 sixes. Mushfiq remained unbeaten on 35 off 44 balls as Mohammedan chased down the target in 40.2 overs, losing just three wickets.
Among Partex’s bowlers, Jawad Rohan, Mohor Sheikh, and Enamul Haque Jr. took one wicket each, but they couldn’t prevent Mohammedan’s dominant victory.
