Rain again threatened to play a spoilsport in Bangladesh’s practice match as it stopped their last warm-up game against India on Tuesday after just two balls at Cardiff. Till filing of this report, it continued pouring.
However it at least allowed a toss unlike their first warm-up game against Pakistan. Bangladesh’s match against Pakistan was called off without a ball being bowled and even the toss couldn’t be held.

In this case, the toss was held and Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza won it. Considering the early morning moisture in the wicket, Mashrafe opted to bowl first.
Mustafizur was the bowler to deliver the first over and Rohit got off the mark in the first ball, pushing the length delivery to cover for three runs.
Sharma’s opening partner Shikhar Dhawan also opened his account with a single in the second delivery before rain arrived, leaving India 4-0 in 0.2 overs.
