Italy beat Germany on t-20 debut

Italy began their Twenty20 international journey in style as the defeated Germany by seven wickets in their debut in T20’s at the Sportpark Maarschalkerweerd at Utrecht on Saturday.

Micheal Ross picked four wickets to help Italy dismiss Germany for a paltry 53 runs in 16 overs and they reached 57-3 in 8.4 overs with Bentota Joy Perera making highest 21 run.
Germany and Italy face each other in a two-match bilateral T20 international series.Italy are making their T20 debut, while Germany are playing their fourth T20 match. Both Germany and Italy face each other in a two-match T20 series, with both the matches being played on May 25, Saturday. The first match will be played at the Sport park Maarschalkerweerd in Ultrecht.
Germany are ranked 34th on the ICC T20 rankings. They made their international T20 debut in the three-match T20 series against Belgium.Germany clean-swept the series 3-0 after thrashing Belgium and are still unbeaten in their short T20 history. The Italians, on the other, are making their debut and face Germany in their first ever T20 match.Both these sides will hope to use this match as a preparation for the upcoming ICC World T20 European Finals.
