Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan unveiled the Dhaka Capitals logo at the Remark-Harlan headquarters for the upcoming 11th season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), following a public vote that helped finalize the team’s name on Wednesday.
Earlier, Remark, a health and beauty care brand, and Herlan, a cosmetics line, were revealed as the new Dhaka franchise owner.
During the announcement, Shakib, the brands’ director shared, "Cricket fans from both Bangladesh and abroad offered many suggestions for our team's name in the upcoming BPL. The enthusiasm has been overwhelming, and we chose Dhaka Capitals based on their input."
