Mohammedan Sporting Club and Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club faced each other in the 38^th clash of DPL 2018. Batting first, Mohammedan registered a total of 286 runs losing all of their wickets.

Things were not very pleasant for the Mohammedan side as they lost four wickets before reaching 90 runs, but then a crucial 108-run stand between Shamsur Rahman and Raqibul Hasan saw the team eyeing a good total. Opener Jony Talukder had also made an important contribution of 37 runs when the team kept losing wickets in the beginning.

Mohammedan skipper Shamsur got out scoring 75 runs but Raqibul Hasan still had enough to offer to his team and stitched another 50-run partnership with Bipul Sharma.

Raqibul returned to the pavilion clubbing 72 runs and Bipul picked up a splendid half-century and made 53 runs off 31 before leaving the crease. The rest of the batsmen could not manage to score much as the three half-centurions’ powered the team to pose a big total.

Farhad Reza, who initiated the early collapse in Mohammedan’s line-up ended up bagging 3 wickets. Mamun Hossain took 2 scalps while Arafat Sunny and Mohammad Arafat picked up a wicket each.
