Bangladesh all-rounder Mossadek Hossain said that he is disappointed to lose the opportunity of making a claim to return back to the national team due to coronavirus pandemic.
Due to coronavirus pandemic, all cricketing event of Bangladesh Cricket Board has been postponed for an indefinite period.
Players like Mossadek was eyeing to make a spot in the national team by playing well enough in the DPL and according to him he was looking forward to it.
Mossadek, who returned home from the middle of the India tour as his mother got sick, said that he was looking forward to making his comeback in the national team through DPL.

"Now, she's good. However, due to the operation, there has been a little pain. When my mother got sick, I told the management that I couldn't be with the team at this time. I left India without playing the Test. At that time I was a regular player of the team,’’ said Mossadek.
The BPL started after my mother’s operation. I played well in almost every match in the BPL. But all of a sudden ‘’I got a shoulder injury. It took about two months to recover. When I became fit than the corona outbreak starts," he said adding that it was disappointing ashe believes that the stair to the national team is DPL, BPL and the constant performance in the first-class cricket. If he could perform well in the DPL then he would have claimed his spot back in the national team.
"For those of us who do not get a chance in the national team, our platforms are BPL, another is DPL or first-class cricket. At this point there is no cricket except DPL. So it's not just me, everyone is focusing here. But for me, DPL (Dhaka Premier League) is a good platform because if I play well here, maybe there will be a chance for me again. So it was a good opportunity for me," Mosaddek added.
The young enthusiastic batsman also said that being out of the team and getting the spot back is a big challenge within oneself.
"Honestly, the big challenge works within oneself. When a player is out of the team, It's become very challenging for him at that time. Because one thing that always works within himself is how he can get back into the team. At the end of the day, a little different thoughts certainly works. Because everyone we play we all think that we represent our country and wants to give something good to the country," the right-handed batsman said.
Mosaddek Hossain also feel that getting his position in the national team will be tough but also hope that if he plays well he will surely get his spot back again.
"It won't be easy. And it is also true that if I play well, I will have my spot again. I have that faith in me," Mosaddek concluded.
