Bangladesh maintained their flawless run in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifiers with a dominant 90-run victory over Scotland at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground on Friday, marking their sixth straight win.

Already assured of World Cup qualification after beating Thailand, the Tigresses delivered another commanding display, piling up 191 for five after being asked to bat.

Captain Nigar Sultana Joty led from the front with an unbeaten 56 off 35 balls, while openers Dilara Akter (39) and Juairiya Ferdous (22) provided a rapid 67-run start.

Sobhana Mostary’s explosive 47 off 23 balls helped Bangladesh finish strongly, adding 100 runs for the fourth wicket with Joty.

In reply, Scotland never recovered from early blows as Marufa Akter struck with the first ball and went on to claim three for 25. Shorna Akter supported well with two wickets, restricting Scotland to 101 for nine.
