Bangladeshi pacer Mustafizur Rahman has registered for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) draft, as confirmed by PSL's official social media. The 10th edition of the PSL is scheduled to kick off on April 8 in Pakistan.

In the 2017-18 season, Mustafizur represented Lahore Qalandars, taking four wickets in five matches with an impressive economy rate of 6.43. Apart from the PSL, he has also played in the BPL, IPL, Sri Lanka’s LPL, and England’s Vitality Blast.

In the previous Indian Premier League season, Mustafizur represented Chennai Super Kings, claiming 14 wickets in 9 matches at an economy rate of 9.26.

Despite his decent performance last year, Mustafizur went unsold in the IPL mega auction this season. With a base price of INR 2 crore, no franchise showed interest in the left-arm pacer.

The PSL's 10th edition will commence with a match between Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United. The final is set to take place on May 19 at Karachi’s National Bank Stadium.

With no IPL commitments this season, Mustafizur is hopeful of participating in the PSL. While he has featured in seven IPL seasons, he has played only one PSL season so far.

Several other international players have also registered for the PSL draft. Notable names revealed on social media include Australia’s Usman Khawaja and England’s David Willey and Jason Roy.
