Australia to tour Sri Lanka for two Tests in January

Australia will play two Test matches in Sri Lanka early next year as part of the ICC World Test Championships, the cricket board in Colombo announced Friday.
The series will pitch currently second ranked Australia against third ranked Sri Lanka, according to WTC standings.

The first Test will begin from January 29, while the second is scheduled to start on February 6.

Both matches will be played at the Galle International Cricket stadium.
The Australians will also stay on for a One Day International on February 13, Sri Lanka Cricket said in a statement.
The Australians last visited Sri Lanka for a Test tournament in 2022, and levelled the two-match series.
