Gary Kirsten resigns as Pakistan white-ball coach

Pakistan's white-ball head coach, Gary Kirsten, resigned on Monday due to disagreements with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Kirsten’s departure is a setback for Pakistan, with the team preparing for an upcoming three-match ODI series in Australia starting November 4, followed by a T20I series of equal length.
Kirsten, who was appointed in April alongside Australia’s Jason Gillespie and named the red-ball head coach, was on a two-year contract with Pakistan.
However, his tenure was cut short after only a few months as tensions with the PCB grew.
The now-former white-ball head coach had not only refused to stay in Pakistan, as provisioned in his contract but also insisted on joining the team five or six days before the series or tour.
