Bangladesh to depart for Emerging Asia Cup tonight

Bangladesh Emerging team will leave the country Wednesday on a 9:50 PM flight for the upcoming Emerging Asia Cup.
The tournament is just around the corner. It will begin on October 18 in Muscat, Oman's capital.
Bangladesh finds itself in the challenging 'Group of Death,' officially known as Group A, alongside Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Hong Kong. Group B includes India, Pakistan, the UAE, and hosts Oman.
The tournament, running from October 18 to 27, will kick off with Bangladesh facing Hong Kong on the opening day. On the same day, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan will also play their opening match. Akbar and co. will have a day off before playing their second match on October 20, facing Afghanistan.
Bangladesh will wrap up the group stage with a match against Sri Lanka on October 22.
Under-19 World Cup winning captain Akbar is confident to bring the trophy to Bangladesh as he said in Mirpur today before leaving "In Sha Allah on 27th will try to play the Final and will be back with the trophy."
Meanwhile, the much-anticipated clash between Pakistan and India is scheduled for October 19. After the group stage, the two semifinals will be held on October 25, with the final set for October 27 at 5:30 PM.
