Emon-Hridoy named in Bangladesh’s Emerging Asia Cup squad

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming Emerging Asia Cup, featuring several players from the national team Sunday.
Akbar Ali, who led Bangladesh to their historic U-19 World Cup win in 2020, is set to lead this squad.
Parvez Hossain Emon, and Towhid Hridoy, who were part of the recent T20 series against India, have been named in the squad, while former national team regulars Naim Sheikh and Shamim Hossain Patwary have also been named.
Jaker Ali Anik, Sheikh Mahedi Hasan, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, and Nasum Ahmed have included in the squad as reserves.
The sixth edition of the Emerging Asia Cup will be held in Oman from 18 to 27 October, with this year's competition being played in the T20 format.

Reserves: Jaker Ali Anik, Sheikh Mahedi Hasan, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Nasum Ahmed.
