Bangladesh spinner Rishad Hossain is set to play for Hobart Hurricanes in the upcoming edition of Australia's T20 league Big Bash. 

Hobart picked Rishad from the bronze category during the BBL draft. 

Among the Bangladeshi players, pacer Hasan Mahmud and Tanzim Hasan and Taijul Islam will go under the hammer.

The batters in the draft are Zakir Ali, Rony Talukdar, Tanzid Hasan, and Shamim Hossain and all-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin has also entered the draft. Jahanara Alam, the only female Bangladeshi cricketer, has also registered for the draft.

The Big Bash League will start on December 15 and conclude on January 27, while the women's tournament will begin earlier, on October 27, and end on December 15.
