Bangladesh HP lose to Pakistan Shaheens by three wickets

Bangladesh HP were trounced by three wickets against Pakistan Shaheens (Pakistan A) in the Top End Sereis at the TIO Stadium.
Pakistan Shaheens chased down the modest 142-run target set by Bangladesh. Omar Bin Yousuf smashed 37 in 29 and Mohammad Haris scored a rapid 32 off 18 to help Shaheens secure the match.
Batting first, Bangladesh lost the last match half-centurion Jishan Alam for a duck. Opener Tanzid Tamim and Parvez Hossain Emon tried to drift the momentum by putting together 48 runs before Tanzid got axed after the first powerplay.
HP's lost two more wickets in quick succession as Emon followed Tanzid to the dressing room in the next over, getting dismissed on 27 runs and Afif Hossain for 4.
Shamim Hossain then scored 44 runs adding a partnership of 83 runs with Mahfuzur Rahman Rabby, who contributed 41 off 32 deliveries which propelled the Tiger to set a decent total.
In Pakistan's chase, the Bangladesh bowlers put up a tough fight against the batters, but the Shaheen were able to hold their nerve to secure the win despite three runouts.
Ripon Mondol, Rakibul Hasan, Rabby and Mugdho each took one wicket for Bangladesh.
