The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has stepped in to support students, who are managing traffic around the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Mirpur by providing food packets.
Members of BCB's media department distributed food packets to these dedicated students who are assisting in traffic management during a time of increased chaos.

In the wake of former PM Sheikh Hasina's resignation and departure from the country, crime rates have surged, leading police personnel to withdraw from their duties. As a result, ordinary students have taken it upon themselves to control traffic in the absence of law enforcement.
Some students are working at traffic signals, while others are actively advising motorcycle riders to wear helmets, contributing to a safer environment on the roads of Dhaka.
Despite the challenges, large traffic congestions have notably diminished, thanks to the efforts of these volunteer students.
In a display of solidarity, civilians have been providing food, flowers, and other items to the students. With this spirit of support, the BCB has arranged meals for the student volunteers for their invaluable contribution to the community.
