With three tons, HP team thrash Bangladesh Tigers

A High Perormance team o Bangladesh have traveled to Australia to play a four-day match, following the four-day game, another unit of the HP team will participate in a One-Day and T20 tournament against various teams in Australia. Before the limited-overs cricket series begins, the players of this unit are playing two One-Day and two T20 matches against the Bangladesh Tigers in Chattogram.
The squad for the limited-overs tournament in Australia includes Tanzid Hasan Tamim, Jishan Alam, Mahfizur Rahman Rabbi, Afif Hossain, Akbar Ali, Shamim Hossain Patwary, Alis Al Islam, and Wasi Siddiqui.
On Monday, this HP unit faced the Bangladesh Tigers in the One-Day format. In that match, three batters from the High Performance Unit (HP) scored centuries, leading HP to a total of 403 runs. Chasing the tough target, the Bangladesh Tigers were all out for 266 runs, resulting in a significant 137-run victory for the HP team.
The Bangladesh Tigers' lineup also featured star players. Despite having notable players like Anamul Haque Bijoy, Naim Sheikh, Saif Hassan, Yasir Ali Rabbi, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Saifuddin, Nasum Ahmed, and Test team star Mominul Haque, they could not secure a win.
At the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram, HP batted first. Tanzid and Jishan Alam formed the opening partnership. Junior Tamim was out for 48 runs, but Jishan reached the three-figure mark. Jishan scored 127 runs off 78 balls, hitting 6 fours and 13 sixes.
Afif Hossain and Akbar Ali both scored centuries too. Afif was run out for 103 runs off 74 balls, with 8 fours and 6 sixes. Youth World Cup-winning captain Akbar remained unbeaten on 102 runs, hitting 9 fours and 5 sixes in his 74-ball innings. With these three centuries, HP posted a total of 403 runs for 5 wickets.
Facing a daunting target of 404 runs, the Bangladesh Tigers were outplayed by HP's bowlers. None of the players could reach a century or even a half-century. The highest score came from Miraz, who made 38 runs, while Yasir Ali and Naim Hassan each scored 30 runs.
Among HP's bowlers, Alis Al Islam took the highest number of wickets with three. Wasi Siddiqui and Mahfizur Rahman Rabbi each took two wickets.
