LA Knight Riders suffered a six-wicket defeat against San Francisco Unicorns in the Major League Cricket (MLC) at the Grand Praire Cricket Stadium.
The Unicorns chased down the target of 166 runs with outstanding fifties from Finn Allen and Matt Short. Allen topscored with 63 off 37 and Matt blasted 58 off 26 hitting three fours and five sixes.
Shakib al Hasan failed to take any wickets and leaked 27 runs in two overs but contributed with the bat.
His aggressive batting against the San Francisco Unicorns brought in significant runs, but he fell short of reaching fifty. He scored 35 runs off 26 balls with 6 fours.
